When people have long hair, they send to stick to the same look. A ponytail back or it is out and straight down. (Boring) Add some layers, we have hard, and soft. It depends on your personality. Layers also gives the illusion of volume. All you need to do is use a round brush, curling iron, or hot rollers. These tools will help kick up the style. If you are more for the one length look. Switch it up by trying to place the ponytail at the side, low in the back, near your occipital bone. You can make the front smooth and sleek or more loose and tussled.
