Hair Trumps Wax!

Why is hair okay when it’s attached to someone’s head but not okay when it is hanging out the back of someone’s pilly sweater or wrapped around an elastic band? I get skeeved out finding my own hair in the drain and so does everyone else in my family. My hair grows like a weed and continuously has to regenerate itself…not my fault, ok? But this post is not about me and my magic hair nor is it about Sir Donald Trump’s mangy rug although it could have been, given today’s blog title.
The hair entry, naturally won last week’s Freak of the Week. Of course it did. Hair is gross. End of story.
A blonde Kardashian
Typically known for her curves and long dark hair, [which seems to be the Kardaishian way.] Kim recently stepped away from her usual self and decided to test whether blondes really do have more fun.
Back in April she test drove a blonde wig, and i guess it must have done her good. Cause this time her highlights are the real deal. She will be debuting the new look at the Teen Choice Awards, which airs tonight.
As for how long this new look will stick around… I guess we’ll have to wait and find out if Kim decides it is more fun to be a blonde.

Waht to Know About Hair Care
Waht to Know About Hair Care
There are about one hundred thousand hairs on a folks head. Every hair has a hair shaft and a layer in the outside. The outside layer is what protects the inner layer of hair. It is known that shiny hair is a good sign of great health hair that is glossy has all of the cuticle laying flat and it reflect light. When the cuticle is laying flat the inside of the hair is protected from heat, sun, chlorine, and anything else that is a danger to the hair. Damaged hair has the cuticle scales not laying flat and the hair is usually dry. This is because the hair is not protected from the enviromental effects.
Depending on what type of hair you have depends on how you may follow through with your hair care. Anyone having dry hair has different hair care wants then somebody which has fine hair. However everyone needs to pay very close attention as to when they brush their hair. Never brush hair that is wet when hair is brushed wet it can stretch and break. Also by brushing you hair when it is wet may cause the hair to have cuticle damage and make the hair not shiny at all.
Be bound to wash your hair with a mild shampoo And this is even more important if you wash your hair every day. However it’s way better not to clean your hair common-or-garden if it is dry. It is fine if you just need to clean your hair once every week this may let the natural oils coat your hair so it is protected. If you need to clean your hair everyday because it is oily then try to use a shampoo that is made particularly for oily hair.
When you take care of your hair you may look great. For more on having healthy hair check out Hair Care Health and this is also a great place to find some great advice on hair care.
Hair Lice Salon
Yep, you read right, there is a such thing as a hair lice salon. Just the idea kinda makes my skin crawl. But owner Judy Butters says “its very common. It’s not disgusting.”
Judy recalled treating her five children for lice when they were younger. “I used to line them up and treat them, one by one.” And she often wished there was someone who could do it for her. Well, now she it that someone!
Her salon is located in the basement apartment of her Queensland home. Judy opened up the salon as means to get out of a job she was no longer enjoying. And with nearly half the children in Queensland estimated to have head lice, it seems she made a wise career move. Business wont be slowing down anytime soon.
Prices range from $27 to $57, depending on the length of your hair.

Clip in Hair Extensions
As the name suggests, clip in hair extensions are those extensions that can be clipped in to natural hair. These hair extensions can be made of Real Remy Hair or Synthetic Hair or may be a hybrid of the two, and these carry clips on the inside of the hair weft.
The clips are used to attach the extensions to the natural hair. These clips are not visible from outside and the ease of putting them on can be gauged from the fact that you can put them on in less than 10 minutes. All this without the help of anyone else !!!
Infact, clip-in hair extensions fall in the category of DIY hair extensions or the Do-It-Yourself hair extensions. All you need is to figure out the best hair style, decide on the type of extension, its color, texture and you are done. You may actually use the services of a hair stylist for once at least, especially if you are putting the hair extensions for the first time, else you should be fine on your own. If you are a veteran in hair extensions, then clip-in hair extensions will afford the ease and simple operatabilty for you.
And the best part about clip-in hair extensions is the fact that if you need the clips to be changed for some reason, you can actually do that at a whisker of a cost. This can be done so my contacting your hair extension supplier or approaching your hair stylist as well. There are other hair accessory websites that can fill in the clips for your requirements.
In essence, if you are looking for hair extensions that you can handle on your own, clip in hair extensions will be a good choice, given the fact that you can bring them on and off at the time of your choice without the need of any external assistance.
Which Freecycler Gets Your Vote?
I have a small dilemma and want you to decide who gets today’s Freak of the Week award. The first one made me throw up in my mouth a little bit and the second one…I am all about the environment and recycling, but isn’t this going a bit far?

Bunch of brown thin braids(about footlong each)-can be used for maybe costumes? I think this was part of extensions that were sewn to the head - Various colors of candle ends, drippings. . .houselady7

Tyra’s Losing The Weave!
Tyra Banks has announced that she is going to lose the hair weave for her talk show episode premiering September 8th. Earlier this week she Twittered “no ponytails, no ballet bun head. hair will be out and free!”
What will her real hair look like? I found this paparazzi photo of Tyra Banks ostensibly without makeup or hair extensions, but I have my doubts. Makeup is something you take off and put on every day, but not hair extensions! I think someone misunderstood the difference between “hair extensions” and “styling your hair extensions, or just keeping them back in a ponytail.”
Tyra Banks has made a crushingly successful modeling career out of hair extensions, and there is a lot of buzz about taking her hair natural. According to many beauticians, a weave is the #1 most popular artificial beauty enhancer, for “regular folks” as well as supermodels. It’s difficult to accurately assess the popularity of hair extensions, beyond “really popular.”
The real question of course is whether Tyra is going to go truly natural with her hair, or if this is just a one-day gimmick. She says she’ll premiere her real hair on September 8th, but will she be back to a big ol’ fakety fake weave on September 9th? Is she going to let her hair sing like CCH Pounder, or is she going to straighten and lighten and beat it into submission? (Related reading: “My First Conk” by Malcolm X.)
As goes Tyra, so goes the world? Doubtful – after all, can you really see Britney returning to her natural hair, which must be all of about two inches long now?
