How To Do Hair Pieces for Men & Women
This procedure is done for men and woman who have more hair loss problems, hair loss due to male pattern baldness, Chemo-therapy and any thyroid problem that cause hair loss. It’s a great solution for all these kinds of hair loss, for both men and women.
First a template must be made. This is done by taking a mold of the clients scalp area , by using clear saran wrap and clear packing tape. Cutting a large slice of saran wrap about 3 feet long hold it down tight covering the top of their scalp and ask the client to hold the ends very tightly like a bonnet. Using the cut pieces of packing tape, apply the tape over the crown area, and with a permanent marker outline the shape of the crown of their head, remembering to copy the natural outline of the hairline in front. Now mark the front and back part while you take a color match of their own hair or swatches. These are done in human hair or synthetic, cut out a mold along your drawing and send the template to a factory that specializes in this.
For women hair pieces or integrations can be attached with a plastic thread such as fishing line, doing so 10 pounds is needed.
This is done by placing hair piece on a clip for the client to secure starting at the forehead taking small amount of their hair with a pin curl clip. Apply the thread by making 2 knots on each side and tie tight but comfortable to scalp then sew there hair to the hair piece tying in two tight knots to secure. Do this all around the hair piece. This procedure is done every four to six weeks.
Bonding is another method
Shave any hair exiting on scalp apply bonder to hair piece make sure hair piece is even measure four fingers from eye brow the roll done to crown area. Lasting about 4 weeks, use bonder remover to clean scalp and then apply again.
Another method of attachment is by using Medical tapes. This method can be taken off every night and applied by the client. They just have to return for any hair cutting of their own.
